Discussion and recap of the budgetary changes (what we know)

Discussion about actions for next year

 

We will reflect on the successful campaign to raise awareness about how the proposed budget cuts, and service delivery changes could bring real and possibly significant changes to the way many Special Education children would receive their educational services. Action to restore the Special Education funding to 2011-12 levels was passed in the June 29th meeting of Board of Education. The motion was made by Noel Gallo, with additional Yes votes from Chris Dobbins, David Kakishiba, and Alice Spearman.
