Events and Community Happenings

Page history last edited by istvanasz@... 12 years, 6 months ago Saved with comment

From time to time the CAC receives announcements of meetings and events of interest to our special education community.  As volunteer time allows, we try to post that information on this wiki page so everyone can hear about it.  The CAC does not endorse any of the organizations or events posted below -- we merely provide thiis information as a service to the community.  If you have an event to announce, email us at cacoakland@gmail.com.  We can't guarantee we'll get it posted here so the best way to reach the community is to attend one of our meetings.

Saturday October 22, 2011 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Burbank Preschool Center
3550 64th Avenue, Oakland CA 94605

The Burbank Preschool Center and Facing Autism in our Schools Today (F.A.S.T) are co-sponsoring a free fair for all families of children with special needs. As many of you are aware, it can be scary and overwhelming for parents to navigate their way through the many challenges often faced in seeking services and resources for their children. This fair will offer parents the opportunity to meet with some local organizations that provide services to our children. Download the fair flyer here.
